Presentation starts with an explanation about our organization, mission and goals, and a international picture tying our goals to international standards like Q4C. Information about our working area: characteristics concerning child and family care. Next the thesis that states our problem: lack of auspice of the parents during the out-of-home placement, lack of cooperation between care-takers and child protection services, the absence of the child’s voice in the way the family is helped, all of which contribute to a long duration of the out-of-home placement. Core of our presentation: a video of a case study, example of our practice based manner of working with families during a crisis. One of our clients tells their story. Before the video we line out the things we changed , how it has been implemented and the challenges we met. After the video we’ll discuss how inclusion is a result of the way we practice our work and discuss the problems we encountered whilst implementing.
