Project named “My world horizon” was conducted in the school year 2012/2013 in Centre for Education and Rehabilitation of Physically Handicapped Children and Adolescents by social pedagogues Neža Markič and Kristina Šmitran. Project was co-created with a group of three young adults on wheelchairs and its goals were to explore lifeworld of persons in the group, extend individual lifeworlds through new experiences and strengthen and empower individuals cooperating in the project. Authors incorporated the method called “Nadelmethode” in German (“the Pins Method” in English) at the initial phase of the project and different activities, through which young adults could express themselves and learn more about the city they lived in for more then 8 years. Final product of the project was a booklet with self-presentation of the young adults involved in the project, including maps of roads and institutions in the city of Kamnik and their adequacy and accessibility for people on wheel chairs.
