After co-writing a Manifesto of social pedagogy in 2011 I decided to offer a training in a Theatre of the oppressed method for students of final years of social pedagogy in Slovenia and for students who finished the study recently. The project called "It is drama to be a social pedagogue" started in November 2011 and was finished in April 2012. The workshops were held three hours per week. The aim of the project was to empower young adults/social pedagogues on the transition to work, give them a new tool they can work with and explore their own lives and oppressions they face in daily life. At the beginning 14 students were included in the training and 13 students finished the training successfully. Performances were self-initiatively extended to public squares in Ljubljana as well. In 2013 me, the previous trainer and 3 previous participants started to work on a project of Theatre of the oppressed in prison, which will start in September 2013.
